Gossard Photo Shoot
Spending a couple of days on an underwear shoot is hard work, you know. No seriously, it is!
Armed with his latest iPhone App (the gloriously analog Hipstamatic), our Creative Director Phil was on hand to document the recent Gossard shoot.
Day one covered the Spring/Summer 2011 shoot with the very talented Jonas Jensen behind the lens and the stunning Elle Liberachi as the body and face of Gossard. Both did sterling work on a packed first day shoot. Elle handled all the changes and all the demands placed upon her and the test shots looked superb.
Gossard’s Spring/Summer 2011 range is still under wraps so we can’t reveal any shots from that day besides this lovingly laid-out picnic table.
Day two was just as challenging. Phil got hands-on, directing the shoot for the new home page design. The test shots were dropped straight into the Photoshop file so everyone could see the shoot in context.
Once the home page shots were in the bag the extremely talented Ruan Van Der Sande began shooting the 130-odd outfits for both the Autumn/Winter 2010 and Spring/Summer 2011 ranges, some of which were also dropped into the new store template design to check how well they worked.
The day went swimmingly, with lovingly-made ham sandwiches and strong tea on tap. Elle was a shining example of professionalism and did an incredible job getting through all those changes. The hard(er) part for Ruan is underway; retouching the 107 final selected shots.
The new Gossard site is slated to launch in time for the coming Autumn/Winter season. Watch this space for more details.
